With the arrest of an accusedperson namely Mantram @ MantraS/O Sh. Kharakvir Singh R/O  Village–Harkauli, P.S Jagia, Udaipur, Distt. Siddharth Nagar, UP South- EastDistrict Police has solved a sexual assault case in which victim is a minorgirl aged 6 years. Mr.  Romil Baaniya Deputy  Commissioner of Police South East Distt. New Delhisaid 13.03.2017 at around 9:30 PM, a man came to the policebooth and stated that his daughter  ismissing since 6:30 pm. When the Police Officer present there was noting thedetails of the missing child the girl was noticed coming from the other side.Immediately she was admitted in AIIMS as she was complaining of pain. Statementof the victim was recorded wherein she stated that on 13.03.2017 in the eveningwhen she was playing in the park, an unknown person approached her and askedher to go with him. He then took her to an unknown place by a white colourvehicle and sexually assaulted her. The name of the unknown person was statedto be Mantra.

In view of the medical report and statement of the victimgirl case FIR u/s 366(A)/376 IPC, & 6 POCSO was registered at PS Govindpuriand the investigation was taken up.

TEAM/ INVESTIGATION: Keeping in view the gravity of the case special teamswere constituted at PS Govindpuri including SI Sunil, SI Jitander, SI Satish,SI Ajit, ASI Jaiveer, ASI Balender, HC UdaiBhan, Ct Shish Ram,Ct Amit  and Ct Surenderunder the close supervision ofACP/Kalkaji Amit Goel, IPS and SHO/GovindpuriInsp. Arvind Kumar.

The victim identified the vehicle as a Gramin Seva by thevictim so all the graminseva vehicles were checked and a massive exercise wasundertaken to identify the scene of crime using the land marks conveyed by thevictim. 7-8 localities were identified and door to door survey was conducted.This exercise continued for 15 days.All the factory workers were verified and drivers of allthe Gramin Sewa of the route were examined. Thereafter poster foridentification of the suspect were also published in the area.  

After hard and herculean efforts, the team comprising ofW/SI Nirmala Singh, ASI Bilender, ASI JaivirRathi and Ct. Surender headed byInspector Arvind Kumar got success in identification of the scene of crime andfrom local enquiry it came to know that the accused was a labourer at Paratha Point at Nehru Place and had not been seen since after Holi. Beat staff and investigation teams gathered remarkable human intelligence. Raid was conducted and the person was apprehended -Mantram@Mantra S/O Sh. Kharakvir Singh R/O Village –Harkauli, P.S Jagia, Udaipur, Distt. Sidharth Nagar, U.P. age3 2 yrs.He came to Delhi 15 years back for work.
