Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh who was addressing a massive gathering at Sainj  in Banjar assembly segment of district Kullu  today, said that the congressmen now days were faithful to a person and not to a  party. He said that there was a massive change in congress of post independence era and now. Now days those who do flattery were being seated and nominated  on top posts, forgetting the very concept elections.

Kotkhai’s Gudiya rape and murder case took new turn today when CBI reported to have arrested one IG including Special Investigation Team (SIT) 7 officers in death of police custody of one accusesd. CBI sources confirmed that IG Jahur Jaidi including seven officers have been arrested.CBI also arrested one DSP Manoj Joshi, former Station House Officer Rajinder Singh, a Sub-Inspector.Others arrested are Assistant Sub-Inspector Deep Chand, Head Constables Surat Singh, Mohan Lal, and Rafiq Ali and Constable Ranjit Streta.

In Himachal a major landslide reported on Sunday with result seven persons have been killed travelling in two Himachal Roadways Buses. About 40-45 people from two State transport buses and other light vehicles are feared trapped. Seven people have been killed so for and about 40-45 are feared trapped in a massive landslide that occurred on Sunday at Kotrupi on the Mandi-Pathankot National Highway near Jogindernagar in Himachal Pradesh.

Guddia rape and murder case today took new turn as one of the accused, who was remanded in police have been died in police lockup. Police says he was killed by the co-accused. When the information spread in the area of Kotkhai, mob gathered and gheraod police station. Police fire in the air and resorted lathicharge to disburse the mob.
