MUSICAL NIGHT WITH MIKA SINGH ORGANISED AT BUTLER ARTS CENTER

It was a musical and entertaining night for thousands of Indian-Americans, Asian and   other communities members who thronged the Butler Arts Center Clowes Memorial Hall at Butler University, Indianapolis with Bollywood singer composer, performer and songwriter enthralled them with his Hindi and Punjabi songs. Throughout the three and half hours programme, with a short interval, the  crowd was treated to live music and songs.
  
Mika Singh's  big hits from his albums namely Something Something, Dunali, Gabru, Saawan Mein Lag Gayi Aag etc kept the spectators on the tips of their chairs. Besides his fans dancing and singing in front of the first row of the Hall, the spectators remained dancing in groups on the first and second levels. Besides singing, Milka also played different musical instruments.
Danish Punjabi singer-dancer-song writer and  actress Anita Hjorth Lerche was also seen dancing to the Punjabi and Hindi songs sang by Mika Singh, whose birth name is Amrit Singh and hailing from Bihar. He started his career as a Kirtan singer.

Before the programme began at 
8 AM, Mika Singh posed for photo with his fans individually as well as groups or family members. As Mika Singh took the stage amidst chanting of Mika, Mika, Mika, Mika..... the crowd became restless. Without wasting any time, Mika Singh was in action to warm the cockles of his fans. Appreciating the love showered upon him by his fans and the organisers making it "an evening in Butler'', Mika Singh promised to visit and perform in Indianapolis every two years. The announcement was  greeted with loud applause and clapping by the cheering crowd. "Absolutely amazing fun filled event. Kudos to Rupal Tahkker Thanewala for helping organize this event and pulling it off successfully in the city of Indianapolis," were the comments. World renowned artist, whose work has headlined as "Lines of Distinction" Kanwal Prakash Singh, who will be completing 50 years in USA, was among the guests.
