INDIAN GIRL ZUHA JAHAGEER KHAN FROM J&K WINS BRONZE MEDAL IN 11TH CK CLASSIC INTERNATIONAL OPEN TAEKWONDO CHAMPIONSHIP-2017.

The people of Kashmir have hardly had a reason to smile in recent times. Faced with curfews, shutdowns and restrictions on public life, the north Indian state has literally come to a standstill. But despite the turmoil, Kashmir based girl namely, Zuha Jahageer Khan battled all odds and went on to claim a bronze medal in the taekwondo Championship

Zuha Jahageer Khan of P. Convent School brought laurels by winning Bronze Medal in the 11th CK Classic International Open Taekwondo Championship Malaysia 2017.

The competition was held on August 2 - 6, 2017 at Stadium Badminton Cheras at Kaula Lumpur.  Zuha Jahageer Khan gained lot of appreciation from J&K state as well as from country. With her hard labour and constant practice she could obtain this position and it is expected that she will touch the new heights in the in the time to come".

"She is fully dedicated to her Taekwondo game and hopefully expected that she will touch the more heights of national - International of the Championship's in future too and her achievements may be suitably encourage and have inspired girls to take up sports".
