With Punjab not in a mood to relent and continued to bat despite posting a mammoth total in their first innings, their four-day match against Delhi in the Col CK Nayudu Under-23 Cricket Trophy, fizzled out into a tame draw at the IS Bindra-PCA Stadium here today.

By prolonging their first innings, Punjab scored a record 841 for 9 in reply to Delhi's total of 130. The highlight of the drawn match was triple century by , Abhijeet Garg (310) and double century by Sanvir Singh (231). They frustrated the Delhi bowlers. Opener Prabjot Singh (75) and Himanshu Sharma (80) also made significant contribution.

Only left arm spinner Shivank Vashisht got some respect from the Punjab batsmen as he captured six wickets for 261 runs.

By virture of their first innings lead of 711, Punjab earned three points and Delhi got one.
