HARYANA FARMERS TO GET RELIEF IN EXTENDING LOAD OF ELECTRICITY

Extending a major relief to millions of farmers across the state, the Haryana Power Distribution Corporations have simplified the process for those wanting to get the load increased. Now, the farmers can get the load of their tubewells increased by paying just Rs 1,500 per BHP.

Giving this information here today, a spokesman of the corporation said earlier consumers in the agricultural sector had to pay the estimated cost of increasing the load which included the cost of transformer and wires. Now, this burden on the farmers has been reduced to Rs 1,500 per BHP. The Corporations have appealed to the agricultural consumers to take advantage of this facility and get regulated their increased loads, he added.
