HARYANA POLICE NAME FIGURED IN LIMCA BOOK OF RECORDS ON QUIZ COMPETITIONS WITH THEME OF ROAD SAFETY

Haryana Police has got its name registered in the Limca Book of Records for organising an hour-long state level quiz competition on the theme of road safety. As many as 24,47,744 students participated in the event, making it the largest school quiz in terms of students participation.

Director General of Police, Mr. B.S. Sandhu said that all ranks of police deserve appreciation for this achievement as it is a moment of pride for the state. The quiz competition was organised on November 8, 2016, he added. He said that 30,03,261 students participated in the quiz competition on road safety organised in 2017-18.
