PUNJAB ; NO BUSES ON ROADS , SCHOOLS CLOSED DUE TO BHARAT BANDH ON APRIL 2. ARMY STANDBY

In view of the call for Bharat Bandh on April 2, the Punjab Government has decided to suspend the services of public transport across the state on Monday. Army and paramilitary forces standby in punjab state, due to sensitive matter.

Disclosing this here today, an official spokesperson said that during Bandh the PRTC, Punjab Roadways and PunBus Buses would not ply on roads and the services of these buses would remain suspended. Govt. also closed all the schools , colleges and univiersities in state due to bandh call. Even the internet services on mobile  have been suspended by evening to night of April 2. The Banks have already announced as working for closing year. No public dealing in Banks in punjab and Haryana.

Punjab University Press Released issued by Renuka Salwan DPR, said all the Educational Institution situated in the State  of Punjab, affiliatedto Panjab University, Chandigarh (Govt. Colleges, Govt. Aided College and PrivateColleges) shall remain closed tomorrow i.e, 02.04.2018 (Monday) in view of the “Bandh Call” by some organization as precautionary measure. All the inspections, examinations and meetings will be held as per schedule. Punjab Govt. spokesmani further said  Mobile Internet services (2G/3G/4G/CDMA), All SMS services and all dongle services etc. provided on mobile networks except voice calls in the territorial jurisdiction of State of Punjab would be suspended from 1st April, 2018, 5:00 pm to 2nd April 2018, 11:00 PM.
