CHANDIGARH POLICE ARRESTED THREE BURGLARS FROM DELHI COMMITTED BURGALARY IN TEMPLES OF CHANDIGARH AND PANCHKULA

Chandigarh Police achieved major break through with the arrest of three burglars who committed burglary in different temple of Chandigarh and Saketri, Panchkula in tricity. All the three accused have been arrested Delhi. Police identified them as Resham Singh @ Rinku S/o Sh Thakur Singh R/o # Vill- Gotha PS- Sitarganj Distt-Udam Singh Nagar UK age-24 years, Harjeet Singh @ Jeet S/o Sh Gannu Singh R/o # Vill- Latifpur PS- Hastinapur Distt- Merut UP, age-30 years. and Manbeer Singh @ Dimple S/o Sh Dalip Singh R/o # Latipur Tehsil- MohanaDistt- Merut UP age-28.

MODES OPERANDI

The modus operandi used by the above mentioned accused is that, they use to recce the temples one day prior to commit the offence. They use to come one by one in the temple and identify the place that from where they can enter and flee. Thereafter, they choose the wee hours to achieve their target. Police said all the accused are produced in the court of Sh. Barjinder Pal Singh ACJM, UT, Chandigarh and obtained five days police remand for further interrogation. The investigation the case is in progress.

  While giving details at Media conference SSP Neelambari Jagdale said, credible information about identity of accused persons who were suspected to be members of an interstate gang was shared with crime branch team headed by ACP Jasbir. A joint team of Police Station Sec 26 and Crime branch Delhi nabbed the accused based on the information provided by PS 26 team. At about 2.30 AM joint teams raided a suspicious house at J.J. Colony, WazidPur, Delhi and nabbed the above said three persons red handed, who were in possession of stolen articles of S.D. Mandir Sector-27 UT, Chandigarh. All the stolen articles i.e. five Mukut of Silver, one snake Silver, one base of Shivling Silver, one Jhallar of Shivling recovered from their possession.

INTEROGATION:

On questioning, the above said accused admitted there involvement other burglary incident of temples in and around Chandigarh. They also disclosed that there were three more persons who were involved in various burglary incidents. With the arrest of above mentioned accused it has been established that these are the same persons who have committed burglary in Sector-27 two temples, Sector-24 Temple, Sector-16 Temple, Sector-19 Temple and Saketri temple Panchkula.
