Haryana Police have made a major breakthrough by arresting a most wanted criminal Surender alias Sunder, a member of Shanidev alias Kuki gang. Carrying a reward of Rs one lakh, the arrested accused was allegedly involved in several cases of murder, attempt to murder, robbery and NDPS Act for last 10 years.

While stating this here today, a spokesman of Haryana Police Department said that Police team had also recovered a country made pistol from his possession. Atleast 10 cases of crime were unearthed with his arrest.

He said that during patrolling in the area of Police station Beri, a CIA team had got an information that a most wanted criminal of Kuki gang carrying a illegal weapon was roaming in the area with an intention of commit a crime. Acting swiftly, the team immediately rushed near bridge of drain number 8 on Beri-Dubaldhan road to nab the criminal. After seeing police, he tried to escape but was arrested by the team with the illegal weapon.

The accused, a native of village Halalpur, Sonipat, now residing at Swantra Nagar, Narela, Delhi, was most wanted in an attempt to murder case registered at Police Station Beri. The local police had announced a reward of Rs one lakh to nab him. During interrogation, the accused revealed a plan concerning killing of Satish alias Kala, who is in jail, in police custody. He was produced before the court from where he was sent in judicial custody.


The CIA team of Nuh Police has arrested a proclaimed offender who was wanted in atleast 18 cases of crime. A reward of Rs 25000 was declared on his arrest.While stating this here today, a spokesman of Haryana Police Department said that the arrested accused had been identified as Sokin alias Sunda, a resident of Salaheri in district Nuh. The accused arrested by a team of CIA Tauru was wanted in several cases of attempt to murder, robbery, loot, hurt and others since 2005.

He said that Sokin was a proclaimed offender and wanted criminal in various cases including under Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO Act) registered at different police stations of Nuh, Rewari, Dharuhera, Manesar, Tauru, Sohna, Gurugram, Meham in Rohtak, Bhondshi, RojkaMev and Firozpur Jhirka in Nuh.


A special team of Dadri Police has arrested Bintu alias Lala, who alongwith his accomplices was involved in release of a gangster Vikram alias Papla, from police custody in Mahendergarh district court premises.

While stating this here today, a spokesman of Haryana Police Department said that a 315 bore country made pistol, a live cartridge and two miss cartridges were recovered from him.

It may be recalled that a Sub-Inspector, an Assistant Sub-Inspector and a gunman of judge got bullet injuries, when Bintu alongwith his accomplices attacked the police team with an intention to release Vikram alias Papla from court premises. The Inspector is still in coma.

On interrogation, accused Bintu confessed to having committed crime. His brother Bikram alias Papla was in jail for his involvement in about one dozen cases pertaining to murder, attempt to murder and others. He alongwith 10 other persons made a plan to release Vikram from police custody and succeeded by attacking a team of cops in the premises of Mahendergarh court.

He said that a case under various sections of Arms Act had been registered against the accused at Sadar Police Station, Dadri. Further investigation of the case was on.
