BELGIUM HEALTH ORGANISATIONS EVINCED KEEN INTEREST IN FOUR PLACES OF HARYANA

A delegation of Medicover, a leading health organisation of Belgium has evinced keen interest in establishing super specialty charitable hospitals at four places in Haryana.

The delegation led by Director, Medicover, Mr. Felipe Velasquez today called on the Haryana Health Minister, Mr. Anil Vij, here today.

Mr. Felipe informed Mr. Vij that they have selected Haryana for establishing charitable hospitals in the state in view of the unprecedented improvements made in the health sector during last few years. The organisation has about 3,000 super specialty hospitals in India and across entire Europe.

Mr. Felipe said that under Phase-I, the organisation intends to establish such hospitals at Rohtak and Gurugram thereafter such hospitals would be established at Karnal and Ambala under Phase-II. These hospitals would be completely charitable and would provide better medical services to poor and economically weaker sections of the society.

In order to further facilitate people of the state, the Health Minister has assured every possible assistance to the organisation.
