PUNJAB CM, GOVERNOR AND SPEAKER GREETS PEOPLE ON EVE OF HOLI

Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh has greeted the people on the occasion of Holi, with a call for celebrating the traditional Indian festival with the colours of unity, tolerance, brotherhood and compassion. In a message on the eve of Holi, the Chief Minister exhorted the people to celebrate the festival of love in a spirit of harmony, brotherhood and amity. 

The festival, which also showcases the victory of good over evil, comes as a reminder of the highest moral values of humanity, said the Chief Minister, asserting that it was time for all the people to re-dedicate themselves to imbibe these age-old values in their psyche.

The Punjab Governor and Administrator, Union Territory, Chandigarh, Shri V.P. Singh Badnore extended warm greetings to the people of Punjab and Chandigarh on the eve of Holi.

In his message, the Governor said the festival of Holi symbolsis the victory of good over evil. He said that this festival marks the advent of spring and also brings together all people, in its spirit of mutual love and harmony, forgetting all distinctions of caste, creed and religion.

The Governor appealed to the people to celebrate this festival of Holi in a true spirit of amity, mutual love, good will and brotherhood.

The Speaker of Punjab Vidhan Sabha Rana KP Singh today extended greetings to the people of Punjab on the eve of the festival of colors “Holi”. 

In a message Rana KP Singh said that this festival of colors symbolized mankind’s quest for creativity, amity and togetherness, in perfect harmony with nature. 

Calling upon people to utilize this opportunity to forget all differences and inhibitions to promote spirit of unity, Rana KP said that let this day spread happiness amongst all of us.
