DELHI POLICE SOLVED CASE OF SENSATIONAL HONEY TRAP, TWO ACCUSED INCLUDING ONE GIRL NABBED

Delhi Police reportedly solved the case of sensational  honey trap  case and arrested one Parminder Singh R/o Tilak Nagar, Delhi and one co-accused girl.

Ms. Monika Bhardwaj, IPS, DCP, said, pm  01.04.2019, the complainant reported that his friend has been held captive by a racket of persons at a house and the saidpersons have already taken money from them and one of the alleged persons is standing at the Jail Road, Hari Nagar for taking more money from the complainant.

The accused persons took Rs.10,000/- from the complainant and further demanded Rs. 20 lakh from the complainant. Thereafter, friend of the complainant was held captive in the same house and complainan along with one accused was sent to bring more money. Thereafter, complainant onthe pretext of arranging money asked the accused person who came along with thecomplainant to wait near Jail Road and came across with the police team.

He stated that one girl befriended him through Whatsapp and asked him to meet. On the regular persuasion of the said girl, complainant alongwith his friend went to meet the girl who came with one more girl to meet them. Thereafter, the said two girls took complainant and his friend to one rented accommodation in Tilak Nagar on the pretext of enjoyment. The second girl took friend of the complainant in a room and the first girl locked the room from outside.

Police further said, at the same time, three men and two ladies entered thehouse and threatened the complainant to implicate him and his friend in a false case of rape. They also threatened that they would defame the complainant and his friend by leaking their video to their relatives and society.

The accused persons took Rs.10,000/- from the complainant and further demanded Rs. 20 lakh from the complainant. Thereafter, friend of the complainant was held captive in the same house and complainan along with one accused was sent to bring more money. Thereafter, complainant onthe pretext of arranging money asked the accused person who came along with thecomplainant to wait near Jail Road and came across with the police team.

After hearing the incident narrated by the complainant, the police team immediately swung into action and arrested accused Parminder Singh from Jail Road. The police team instantly conductedraid at the alleged premises where friend of the complainant was held captiveby the accused persons, but the said premises was found locked. Furtherinvestigation revealed that after releasing the friend of complainant, all theaccused persons escape away from the said premises.

The police team conducted severalraids at possible hideouts of the accused persons and one co-accused girl has also been arrested.

INTERROGATION & MODUSOPERANDI:

During sustained interrogation accused Parminder disclosed to have committedmore than 05 incidents of extorting people through honey trap in the last one month with the help of his racket. His racket comprises of 4-5 ladies and 3-4 men. Accused persons mainly target old men of wealthy background. Thenone of the girls of the racket befriends him through Whatsapp and then persuades him to meet her at a house already rented by the racket. When the girl and the men are inside, suddenly other members of the racket arrive at the spot and then threaten the complainant to implicate him in a false rape case and defame in the society. Thereafter, members of the gang demand a good amountand most of the time, the people give them money to avoid the hassle. Thesaid gang has targeted a number of people.

Raids are being conducted to nab the co-accused persons. The staffinvolved in working out the above said case is being suitably rewarded.  

The accused identified as Parminder Singh (23) resident of Tilak Nagar, Delhi. He has studied upto 10th class and came in contact of said racket around a year ago.
