HARYANA DPR SROW REVIEWS ARRANGEMENTS ON CELEBERATION OF 550TH GUEPUEB AT SIRSA

Director General, Haryana Information, Public Relations and Languages Department, Mr. Sameer Pal Srow reviewed the preparations of the state level function to be organized in view of the 550th Prakash Utsav of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji at Sirsa on August 4 and gave necessary directions to the officials.

Mr. Srow said that no negligence should be exercised in the preparations of the function and all works should be completed in a time bound manner. He said that adequate security arrangements should be made at all the doors of the venue of the function. Apart from this, there should be proper arrangements of drinking water for the devotees coming to the function. He directed the officers of the Public Health Engineering Department that the sewage system of grain market should be repaired.

The Director General said that media centre would be set up for the electronic and print media and arrangements of LED, computers and laptops would also be made.

He said that in view of the 550th Prakash Utsav of Shri Guru Nanak Dev ji on August 4, welcome gates are being made at several places to welcome the pilgrims coming from across the country. Sign boards will be placed at main roads entering Sirsa from other districts to reach the venue of the function. He also directed to make better arrangements of ‘langar’ for pilgrims so that they do not face any inconvenience.
