TRIPPLE MURDER IN CHANDIGARH: MOTHER, SON AND DAUGHTER KILLED WITH SHARP EDGE WEAPON

In a sensational case of murder in which three members of a family  reported  to have been brutally  murdered with sharp edge  weapon on Thursday morning at 1.30 AM  IN   Manimajra. The cause of murder is yet not known immediately.

The deceased identified as Sarita Arora (42) and her two children Arjun (15) and Sanchi (20).  Police said sensational murder noticed to police when deceased family friend Karamveer Singh went to their house No. 5012 in Manimajra Housing Complex here  to inform Sarita Arora about her husband Sanjay Arora’s accident and inform the police.

Karamvir associate of Sanjay Arora (running own sweet shop by the name of Krishna Sweets, Sec-9 Panchkula) received a call from PGI intimating him about the critical condition of Sanjay Arora, he was referred to PGI from Hospital Sector-6, Panchkula where he was admitted. Sanjay Arora sustained blunt injuries on right side of head & other body parts after being hit by a train. He immediately rushed to the hospital and tried to contact the family members. When, he was unable to contact the family members on telephone, he went to the house of Sanjay Arora. On reaching there, he saw the gate locked from outside and on using torchlight; he saw blood under suspicious circumstances inside the house. 

Sanjay Arora , who runs business of Dairy farming, met an accident have been admitted to PGIMR in precarious condition. The Manimajra police have Registered a case of murder against unidentified persons and investigating. The trio dead bodies have been sent to Sector 16 Multispeciality Hospital for postmortem.  No arrest has been made so far.

  Meanwhile police said, on the intervening night of 22/23 Jan, 2020 at about 00:58 AM, a call was received in Police Control Room from near gate No.3, House No.5012, Duplex Manimajra, Mani Majra regarding some suspected activities. PCR along with team from Police Station including SP/City & Operation, DSP and SHO rushed to the spot immediately.

When, he was unable to contact the family members on telephone, he went to the house of Sanjay Arora. On reaching there, he saw the gate locked from outside and on using torchlight; he saw blood under suspicious circumstances inside the house. 

He called the police whom after removing the lock entered into the house. Inside the house 3 dead bodies were found. In one bedroom, dead body of Mrs Sarita Arora (Housewife) W/o Sanjay Arora was found, in second bedroom dead body of Arjun (age-15 years) student of Class 10th S/o Sanjay Arora was found and in the common area body of Sanchi Arora, (Age-22 years) student of Law in Chandigarh University D/o Sanjay Arora was found. 

Immediately CFSL team, Crime team, Photographers and dog squad were called to collect the evidences. On inspection of the house, one suicide note was also found which is being verified for handwriting and authenticity. 

All the scientific evidences alongwith CCTV footages are being collected. The deceased bodies have been sent for post mortem and medical report is awaited. Sanjay Arora is still in critical condition and admitted in PGI. In depth enquiry into the matter is being conducted and all the facts are being verified. 

On the basis of above facts, FIR No.13 dated 23/01/2020 U/S 302 IPC, PS MM has been registered against unknown person. Investigation is being carried out by SHO Manimajra.

Later it reveals that  Sanjay Arora Proprietor of Krishna Sweets of Panchkula, bid to commit to suicide after murder of his family, now battling for life in PGIMR. He tried to commit suicide after murdering his family members.  

Police have found suicide note of Sanjay Arora, who left and jumped before a train in the nearby Mansa Devi Complex area. He was rushed with serious injuries to the General Hospital in Sector 6, Panchkula, from where he was referred to PGIMER, where later he succumbed to his injuries. He was the main and only accused killing his family. 

When calls to inform the family members went unanswered, PGIMER staff called up Karamveer Singh, a colleague of Arora’s, on Wednesday night, requesting him to inform the family.  

Though the police are trying to ascertain the motive and verifying the suicide note, sources said Arora was under debt and depressed because of his financial condition.
