FOUR LEADING TV CHANNEL JOURNALISTS INCLUDING WOMAN CAUGHT RED HANDED WITH 50 THOUSANDS FOR BLACKMAILING YAMUNANAGAR DFSC

FEMALE JOURNALIST ANSHU GOT BAIL WHEREAS TILAK BHARDWAJ, BAWA AND PRADEEP REMANDED TO JUDICIAL CUSTODY

Four leading TV channel journalists including one woman reported to have been caught red handed accepting extortion money of Rs. 50 thousand  blackmailing DFSC Rajesh Arya on Wednesday evening.

The police caught them taking Rs 50,000. A case has been registered against all the four TV journalists. The woman journalist Anshu got bail, while three other journalists Bawa, Pardeep and Tirath have been sent to judicial custody .

According to FIR Distt. Food and Supply Controller (DFSC) Rajesh Arya stated that on April 18, he was going to his house Rohtak with verbal permission from DC. He also had household items in his car, whch bought from the market. On the way, three journalists Tilak Bhardwaj, Sarvjit Bawa and Pradeep Sharma already standing on the Road. The stopped him and started videoraphy. Later SHO Radaur also came to the spot and on seeing goods he left the spot.

Upon the complaint of DFSC Police formed the team and gave 25 notes of two thousands signed to DFSC. Tilak Bhardwaj and Pradeep Sharma reached DFSC office in the evening. While Bawa and Veena Arora Alias Anshu sat in the car outside. As soon as the DFSC gave him the signed notes, the police team immediately caught up. Police later also nabbed Bawa and Anshu sitting in the car.

Since then, the three journalists have been visiting his office for several days and continuously threatening that they will viral the video, if not paid to two lacs. Ultimately he agreed to pay some money after borrowing . The journalists told the DFSC, they will come to collect money from him on the evening of April 29.

Police spokesperson Chamkaur Singh said that the female journalist Anshu got bail on the night itself. While Tilak Bhardwaj, Bawa and Pradeep were produced before the court and remanded to Judicial custody.
