PURAB PREMIUM APARTMENT (GMADA HOUSING PROJECT) RESIDENTS SEEK CM INTERVENTION ON ISSUING NOTICE TO DEPOSIT MAINTENANCE CHARGES FOR INCOMPLETE PROJECT

GMADA EO (H) reportedly issued the notice to the residents of Purab premium Apartments in Sector 88, asking them to deposit maintenance charges, as the facilities of housekeeping and security being provided to the allotees. In his notice to Society residents EO said, if the allottees failed to deposit the maintenance charges wihin 15 days, the action will be initiated against the allotees. 

Resident of the Society Mr. Rahul Sharma said it is the rarest case of "RERA LAW" violation by GMADA EO (H) as GMADA violated it's own notification of "RERA LAW" clause No.10, notified by the GMADA Chief Administrator 

RESIDENTS RAISED VOICE

*As per the RERA LAW developers' has to bear the cost of maintenance till project is completed 
*GMADA had given the possession without occupancy certificate and completion certificate

In this regard Mr. Rahul Sharma,in his tweet (Retweeted by several others)to Captain Amrinder Singh, CM Punjab & DGP Punjab said, “CM sahib same guts you must show for controlling GMADA EO (H) who had issued the public notice for maintenance of flats of PURAB APPT. in violation of RERA clause no.10 notified by GMADA itself. Project is not completed in 9-10 years. Hope you ll intervene “ 

In subsequent tweet residents asked CM & DGP Punjab to "constitute SIT" to probe further.
