For a week, rail traffic that was hit due to farmers’ agitation, will remain affected now due to doubling of track between Rajpura-Bathinda section and electronic interlocking work at Rampura Phul and Tapa stations.
Captain Shashikiran, Chief PRO, North Western Railway said that 14816 Rishikesh-Abohar-Sriganganagar train and 14815 Sriganganagar-Abohar-Rishikesh train will remain canceled from May 2 to 7. This train service has already been canceled for a fortnight due to farmers' agitation.
14735 Sriganganagar-Abohar-Ambala train service will operate from Sriganganagar to Bathinda from May 2 to 7. The service will be partially canceled between Bathinda-Ambala. 14736 Ambala-Abohar-Sriganganagar train will operate from Bathinda instead of Ambala from May 3 to May 8. The service stands partially canceled between Ambala-Bathinda. 14525 Ambala-Abohar-Sriganganagar train will operate from Bathinda instead of Ambala from May 2 to 7. This will be partially canceled between Ambala-Bathinda.
14526 Sriganganagar-Abohar-Ambala train will depart from Sriganganagar from May 2 to 7, it will run till Bathinda only. The service will be partially canceled between Bathinda-Ambala. 14888 Barmer-Rishikesh train will depart from Sriganganagar from May 2 to 6, it will operate up to Bathinda only and will be partially canceled between Bathinda-Ambala. 14887 Rishikesh-Barmer train will operate from Bathinda instead of Rishikesh from May 2 to 7 and will be partially canceled between Rishikesh-Bathinda.
14526 Sriganganagar-Abohar-Ambala train will depart from Sriganganagar from May 2 to 7, it will run till Bathinda only. The service will be partially canceled between Bathinda-Ambala. 14888 Barmer-Rishikesh train will depart from Sriganganagar from May 2 to 6, it will operate up to Bathinda only and will be partially canceled between Bathinda-Ambala. 14887 Rishikesh-Barmer train will operate from Bathinda instead of Rishikesh from May 2 to 7 and will be partially canceled between Rishikesh-Bathinda.
12455 Delhi Sarai Rohilla-Bikaner train will depart from Delhi Sarai till May 6 and will operate via the diverted route Jakhal-Mansa-Bathinda instead of Rampura Phul-Barnala-Dhuri. 12485 Nanded-Sriganganagar train, which will depart from Nanded from May 2 to 6, will operate via the diverted route Jakhal-Mansa-Bathinda instead of Sangrur-Dhuri-Barnala-Rampura Phul stations. 12486 Sriganganagar-Nanded train will depart from Sriganganagar from May 4 to 7, it will operate via Bathinda-Mansa-Jakhal. Due to a change in the route, this train service will not pass through Rampura Phul-Barnala-Dhuri-Sangrur stations.
