The All India Women's Agarwal Conference organized a Lohri celebration ceremony for girls sending a message of respect and empowerment of daughters to society. The first Lohri of 21 girls was celebrated in a traditional and emotional atmosphere, which deeply touched the assembled gathering. The ceremony, at Shri Ram Bagh Old Age Home, Ferozepur Cantt, was presided over by state Vice President Harish Goyal.
Chief guest was Meenakshi Singhal, Chairperson of Genesis Dental College and Hospital, and special guests included Sanjana Mittal, Joint Chairperson of Genesis, Deepali Vishisht, MD TBS International School, Kiran Bansal, Director Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, Neeru Arora, Anjali Grover. The proceedings were conducted by General Secretary Ritika Goyal.
(SUBHEAD)Meenakshi Singhal, Sanjana Mittal, Kiran Bansal and Dr. Neeru Arora said that only educated and self-reliant daughters build a strong society. Lohri was lit in the traditional way. All the girls were provided with gifts. Dr. Abhishek Arora, Facility Director of Amandeep Hospital, provided special support. Former president of the All India Agarwal Conference, Ashok Gupta, Sushil Gupta, Vishal Gupta, Sanjay Gupta, Suraj Mehta, Gaurav Doda, and Raj Kumar were also present.
All India Women's Agarwal Conference president Anu Garg, patron Savita Goyal, and secretary Ritika Goyal, along with Urmil Goyal, Neelam Gupta, Deepa Goyal, Komal Kansal, Sarita Garg, Neetu Goyal, Shaina Goyal, Kangana Goyal, Megha Gupta, Isha Agarwal, Leena Singhal, Anita Singhal were present.
