On secret information the team of police station-36 had busted a gang of Human Trafficking who used to lure other state women to work in Chandigarh and brought them from various region/state of India to Chandigarh and got them involved in sexual exploitation.
A Case FIR no- 318 dated 16.09.23 U/S 370,370A (ii),120B IPC has been registered at Police Station 36 and investigation is going on.
The inputs were being received regarding the sexual exploitation of interstate trafficked women at hotels in Village Kajheri, Chandigarh. Working on the directions of Senior Officers Ms. Kanwardeep Kaur, IPS, W/SSP/UT Chandigarh and Sh. Mridul, IPS, SP City, a special team under the supervision of Sh. Charanjit Singh Virk, SDPO/South West & headed by Inspector Om Parkash SHO/PS-36 comprising of SI Gurjiwan 1068/CHG I/C PP-61 , SI Naveen Kumar I/C PP-43, L/SI Asha Devi 1280/CHG, Ct. Yogesh No. 6447/CP, Sr. Ct. Jaibir Singh 3607/CP, Ct. Yogesh 4890/CPraided at hotel Nitish Palace VillKajheri, Sector 52, Chandigarh, where trafficked interstate women were kept in hotel for sexual exploitation.
(SUBHEAD)The team rescued one girl from the hotel which was being sexual exploited by accused namely Sandeep S/O Nanku R/o Village-LaxamanpurBazar, District-Sarawasti, UP and Muslim Hussain @Sahid S/o Mustakhussain R/o # 38, village-Kajheri, Sector-52, Chandigarh Age-31 Years. Now both above said accused have been arrested, who indulged this girl in sexual exploitation by recruiting her for providing her job in hotel.The rescued girl was sent to Nar iNiketan sector 26, Chandigarh.
INTERROGATION : On sustained interrogation it was revealed that accused Muslim Hussain@Sahid is a Co-owner of Hotel who was running with his brother Muzahid and they brought girls from Assam, Bangal, UP and Bihar on pretext them provide job in Chandigarh with the help of a person namely Raju (who lives in Rohini, Delhi). They used to lure poor girls from different states for providing good job in Chandigarh and indulged them in sexual exploitation for their benefit.
KNOW THE ACCUSED: Sandeep S/O Nanku R/o Village-LaxamanpurBazar, District-Sarawasti, UP, Muslim Hussain@Sahid S/o Mustakhussain R/o # 38, village-Kajheri, Sector-52, Chandigarh Age-31 Years
The above said accused produced before the Hon’ble Court and 01 day police remand of accused Muslim Hussain@Sahid S/o Mustakhussain R/o # 38, village-Kajheri, Sector-52, Chandigarh Age-31 Years has been obtained. The other accused namely Sandeep S/O Nanku R/o Village-Laxamanpur Bazar, District-Sarawasti, UP has been sent to judicial custody. The other co- accused namely Raju involved in this racket is yet to be arrested and more persons the further investigation is in progress.
