The Live broadcast of landing of Chandrayaan 3 on moon was held in the auditorium of PG Govt College for Girls Sector- 42 Chandigarh. The Live braodcasdt was attended by Governor of Punjab and Administrator, UT Chandigarh, Sh. Banwarilal Purohit, Sh. Dharam Pal, Adviser to Administrator, Sh. Nitin Kumar Yadav, Secretary Home and other officials of UT Chandigarh Administration joined the audience to watch the Live ISRO broadcast.
At the onset of the live telecast, Sh. Dharam Pal gave a detailed presentation about the technical aspects of the Chandrayaan Mission and answered queries of students related to this mission.
(SUBHEAD)The enthralled audience watched the live scenes from ISRO. As Chandrayaan safely soft landed on the moon, the audience burst into cheers witnessing the historic event. Sh. Narendra Modi, Hon’ble Prime Minister of India also connected on live broadcast with the countrymen. The PM congratulated all the scientists in specific and the 140 crore Indians in general on this glorious moment. Sh. Modi said that science and tehnology are the basis of India’s future and in times to come, ISRO will launch more space missions.
The Governor congratulated the whole team of ISRO and Chandrayaan 3 Mission on this landmark success. He said that with this feather in the cap, India becomes the 4th country to soft land on moon and 1st country in world to land near the South Pole. The success of Chandrayaan 3 signifies the new and bold self reliant India. Today, a new chapter begins in the Indian space research sector. Sh. Purohit congratulated and thanked the Prime Minister, under whose leadership, India is paving its way to become a super power. Sh. Purohit gave best wishes to ISRO for all future endeavors.
