In a heartwarming tale of faith and medical excellence, Dr. S. S. Tantia Medical College, Hospital and Research Center (Jan Sewa Hospital), nestled within Tantia University Campus on Sriganganagar-Hanumangarh Road, has showcased its remarkable commitment to healthcare.
(MOREPIC1) (SUBHEAD)A father's unwavering trust in the medical prowess of the Hospital led him to bring his ailing son all the way from Bihar for life-saving treatment. Chief Administrative Officer Prof. Baljeet Singh Kularia said that Vinod Kumar Sharma, a skilled car painter hailing from Bihar's Chhapra district, faced a dire crisis when his 13-year-old son, Rajkumar, accidentally lodged a cotton swab in his ear. The seemingly innocuous incident took a perilous turn as the cotton fibre penetrated deep into the ear, endangering the young boy's life. Seeking a solution to this dire situation, one of Sharma's relatives in Sriganganagar suggested Jan Sewa Hospital as a beacon of hope and assured a complete cure.
Thorough examination revealed the severity of the condition—the cotton fiber had made its way into the brain. The neurosurgeon promptly performed two critical surgeries. Dr. Mahesh K. Mohta, ENT Deptt head successfully performed the MRM operation. Anaesthesiologist Dr. Naveen Jain extended valuable help.
The patient was placed under the care of the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), where a dedicated team of Dr. Mahesh K. Mohta, Dr. Dheeraj Godara and Dr. Inderdeep Singh Kochar, provided attentive and meticulous care.
The child emerged from the ordeal with a triumphant recovery. Rajkumar's father said, “My child is now well, and we are headed back home. The doctors here have worked tirelessly to ensure his recovery.
