ANMOL GAGAN MANN DISTRIBUTES LETTERS OF INTENT WORTH RS. 2.70 CRORES TO 154 FAMILIES FOR MUD HOUSE RENOVATION

The Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann-led Punjab Government is consistently fulfilling all the promises made to the people and tirelessly working for the welfare of the citizens, stated Tourism Minister Anmol Gagan Mann. She added that they will persist in working day and night, with honesty and dedication, to ensure the progress and prosperity of both the people and the state.

The Cabinet Minister was here on Tuesday at Ram Bhawan Kharar to disburse Letters of Intent to the beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Shahri Awas Yojana. She started distribution of 154 sanction letters to the eligible beneficiaries.
Under this scheme, Letters of Intent (LoIs) consisting of an amount of Rs 1.75 lakh have been given to each family. This amount reaches the beneficiary in phased installments. The first installment is Rs 12,500, the second is Rs One lakh, the third is Rs 32,500, and the fourth is Rs 30,000.

he Cabinet Minister stated that to avail the benefits of this scheme, it is mandatory to follow the entire procedure. Phased installments are issued, and photographs showing the progress of the work in phases are to be uploaded on the portal, supported by evidence of completion.
