Renowned Jeweller of Ludhiana in Punjab, who was robbed of 10 KG Gold worth 6 Crores by impersonating CGST Officers and he case wss solved by Delhi Police on Monday. Police has recovered 8 Kg Gold .Delhi Police said, Very close friend of victim Khanna Resident Sushil Top, turns out to be the mastermind, arrested from Khanna, Punjab.
Gold worth about Rs 6 crore belonging to a jeweler from Ludhiana, Punjab, was destroyed in Delhi. Its mastermind has turned out to be Sushil Topi of Ludhiana. Who was arrested by the Delhi Police from Jaggi Resort in Sirhind. The national chairman of International Anti Khalistani Terrorist Front (IKATF) Kashmir Giri and his son Rajan Bawa are also involved in this scandal.
In search of them, the Delhi Police raided the house at Khatikan Chowk, but both the houses were not found.(SUBHEAD)
Jeweler Ravinder Kumar resident of New Subhash Nagar near HBM Convent School Ludhiana told that he has a shop named RN Jewelers in Nalke Wali Gali. Balraj Singh of Ludhiana used to work with him as a driver. Rajan Bawa of Khanna was his employee. On July 10, Rajan Bawa was sent along with Balraj Singh to collect gold from Delhi.
Confirmed after buying gold on 10th July, both of them took 10 plates of 10 kg gold each from HR Enterprises Karol Bagh New Delhi at around 9 pm on 10th July. The weight of each plate was 1 kg. After taking the gold plates, it was confirmed over the phone. Rajan Bawa called and told that he had taken the gold plates. Meanwhile, after reaching Haryana Maitri Bhawan near Rani Bagh, Delhi, he got a call again.
Rajan Bawa said that the I-20 car was following him. They were surrounded by this vehicle. Two persons have come out of the car, one of whom is telling himself as Central GST Inspector Satbir Singh and the other is Ravi Kumar. Three people are sitting in the car. These people are asking for gold bills.

NTERROGATION : Mr. Harendra Singh, IPS, DCP, Outer Distt, said, during sustained interrogation, accused Sushil disclosed that he used to go to GST office in routine manner. He had gained some knowledge of the working of GST officers. He knows Rajan since 2 years. He planned a conspiracy with Rajan and some other persons to cheat the jeweler by impersonating as CGST officers.
KNOW THE Accused: Sushil Kumar @ Toppi @ Rakesh @ Rajesh Kumar S/o Raj Kumar R/o Ludhiana, Punjab, Age 42 years
PREVIOUS INVOLVEMENT OF ACCUSED: Accused Sushil is previously involved in 18 other criminal cases.
RECOVERY: 8 Gold plates (1 kg each) worth approx. 4.8 Crores
CASES WORKED OUT: •Case FIR No. 580/23 dated 15.07.2023 U/s 419/420/34 IPC, PS Rani Bagh
Further investigation of the case is in progress.
