With the arrest of Jyoti R/o Aruna Nagar, Majnu Ka Tila, Delhi Age 36 Years, the staff of PP Majnu ka Tila, PS Civil Line led by SI Ashok Kumar, I/C PP Majnu ka Tila, has busted a supply chain of the Narcotic Substance Heroin in the area of Civil Lines.
Keeping in view the crime trend in the area of P.S Civil Lines, different teams have been constituted and tasked by Inspr. Rajeev Kumar, SHO/PS Civil Lines under the close supervision of Ms. Vidushi Kaushik, ACP/Civil Lines to identify and arrest the criminals, with a special focus on busting the supply chain of Narcotic Substances.
Information about the movement of drug peddler was received by the team comprising SI Ashok Kumar (In-Charge PP Majnu Ka Tilla), W/HC Meenakshi & Ct. Naveen Kumar under the supervision of Insp. Jitender Rana, Insp (I) & Insp. Randhir Kumar ATO/PS Civil Lines. This information was shared with senior officers and raid was conducted.
Mr. Sagar Singh Kalsi, IPS, DCP, North Distt., said, at bout 03.25 PM on 02.07.2023 on the basis of secret information raiding team apprehended one woman namely J R/o Majnu Ka Tila, Delhi Age 36 Years from near under construction Parshavnath Mall, Baba Sahib Talib Marg, Majnu Ka Tilla, Delhi carrying 275 grams heroin in one black colour polythene have been recovered from her possession on the spot.
In this regards a case vide FIR No. 242/2023, dated 02.07.2023, u/s 21 NDPS Act has been registered at PS Civil Lines, Delhi.
Further investigation is going on to known the sources of the contraband substance.
