The Central Bureau of Investigation has arrested a Junior Assistant, MCD Zone, Karol Bagh, New Delhi for demanding & accepting bribe of Rs.50,000/- from the Complainant.
A case was registered against a Junior Assistant, MCD Zone, Karol Bagh, New Delhi on complaint. It was alleged that the accused demanded bribe of Rs.2.25 Lakh from the Complainant for allowing him to run his tyre repair shop at Kirti Nagar, New Delhi.
CBI laid a trap and caught the accused red handed while accepting the bribe of Rs.50,000/- from the Complainant. Searches were conducted at the premises of the accused.
The accused was produced before the Designated Court at Delhi and was remanded to Judicial Custody.
