Under the Mission Abad 30, initiated by the district administration for the development of border villages, a Suwidha camp was held at village Muhammad Peera. Deputy Commissioner Dr. Senu Duggal, SSP Avneet Kaur Sidhu and MLA Narinderpal Singh Sawna visited the camp and interacted with the villagers and listened to their problems.
MLA Narinderpal Singh Sawna said that these camps are being organised with the aim of providing citizen services to the people at their doorstep.
DC Dr. Senu Duggal said that the camps, under Mission Abad 30, are proving to be a boon for the border villages and people do not have to come to the offices for various citizen services. More than a dozen departments reach the village and provide facilities. She also distributed the certificates made during the camp to the beneficiaries on the spot.
SSP Avneet Kaur Sidhu appealed to the people to stay away from drugs and said that if anyone is smuggling drugs, then inform the police so that proper action can be taken.
