HC JUSTICE SUDHIR MITTAL PAYS FLORAL TRIBUTES AT ASAFWALA WAR MEMORIAL

Justice Sudhir Mittal of Punjab and Haryana High Court visited the Asafwala War Memorial near the International Border and paid his respects to the martyrs of the 1971 Indo-Pak War. District and Sessions Judge Jatinder Kaur was also present.

Justice Mittal laid a wreath at the memorial and paid homage. He offered his devotion to the martyrs by reaching the 71 feet high Vijay Stambh built here.

(SUBHEAD)Shaheedon ki Samadh committee members Praful Nagpal, Shashi Kant, Ravi Nagpal, Manish Kataria and Ashish Kumar welcomed Justice Sudhit Mittal and shared information about the memorial with them.

CJM cum Addl. Civil Judge Ravi Gulati, CJM cum Secretary District Legal Services Authority Amandeep Singh and Judge Praveen Singh were also present.

Earlier, Justice Mittal inspected the courts of Abohar sub division and reviewed their functioning here. District and Sessions Judge Jatinder Kaur was present. SDJM Anish Goyal, Judges Arjun Singh, Lakhbir Singh, Rubina Josan, Jaspreet Kaur and Rajan Aneja were also present. Justice Mittal also held a meeting with the representatives of Abohar Bar Association and listened to their problems.
