At the Startup Day programme here, Deputy Commissioner Dr. Senu Duggal said that the goal of the Startup Day in Abohar was to provide regional access to mentorship for the region's startup community. The platform also assists with start-up ideation, development, and growth acceleration. Additionally, by connecting with global mentors and advisors at IMPunjab, participants at Startup Day receive feedback and validation for their idea, a possible match with the right incubator, and guidance from the entrepreneurial ecosystem. This is also the beginning of their entrepreneurial journey with the Mission.
Somveer Anand, CEO and Mission Director of IMPunjab said, “Punjab has an innovative and striving population that is solving daily life problems with innovative ideas. We want to create a rich network of investors, industrialists, and founders of the startup communities to engage with these entrepreneurs to help them strive by upscaling their functioning and hence, shaping the future of their businesses.
The Abohar edition received over 60 registrations from diverse industries, including F&B, Education, Agriculture etc, and had Anushka Neol, Founder – ThreeOneFarms inspire a next generation of entrepreneurs through her venture experience.
