ON SEARCH OPERATION BY BSF AND POLICE FOUND ONE DRONE WITH ARMS AND AMMUNITION

Border Security Force (BSF) troops on Fridayt Morning at about 0055 hours deployed at border, heard buzzing sound of a suspected flying object (drone) entering from Pakistan into Indian territory in the area near Village – Metla in District – Gurdaspur.

On day break the whole area was cordoned in which police also participated. During relentless search, BSF troops, could find and recovered one drone (hexacopter) alongwith 01 AK – series Rifle, 02 Magzines and 40 – Rounds from farming field in depth area near Vill – Nabi Nagar, Dist – Gurdaspur.On day break the whole area was cordoned in which police also participated. BSF spokesman from Jalandhar Punjab Frontier BSF said, vigilant troops of BSF, once again, foiled nefarious design of drug smugglers.
