CABINET MINISTER JAURAMAJRA DISTRIBUTES 25 TRICYCLES OUT OF OWN POCKET TO DIFFERENTLY ABLED POOR PEOPLE

Chandigarh/Samana

In accordance with the wholehearted commitment of the Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann led Punjab Government to undertake welfare centric measures for every section of the society, the Cabinet Minister, Punjab, Chetan Singh Jauramajra today at Samana, distributed 25 tricycles out of his own pocket to the differently abled people hailing from poor strata.

Calling the poor, needy, destitute and differently abled people very much a part and parcel of our society, the Minister exhorted the populace to celebrate the festival of colours 'Holi' in the true sense by helping such needy people in whatever way they can.

The Minister also called upon the NGOs to come forward to extend a helping hand to this section of the society in whatever way or with whatever means possible. This would add colours of happiness into the lives of these marginalized people as they would feel themselves assimilated into the mainstream. Holi is not all about splashing colours on each other but also assisting the poor sections with all possible means at our disposal so as to make their smile broader, added Jauramajra.
