NURSING TRAINING INSTITUTES ASSOCIATION DEPUTATION MEETS HEALTH MINISTER

A deputation of the Nursing Training Institutes Association met Health and Medical Education Minister Dr. Balbir Singh on Friday regarding the problems being faced by nursing colleges and raised the demand to solve the same at the earliest.

(MOREPIC1)  Association secretary Dr. Sahil Mittal informed that during the meeting, Association President Dr. Manjit Singh Dhillon, Senior Vice President Dr. Gurdial Singh Buttar, Secretary Dr. Sarabjit Narangwal, Vice President Puneet Inder Bawa, Secretary Joginder Singh, Cashier Sukhwinder Singh, senior members Dr. BL Bansal, Damanpreet Singh were among those present.(SUBHEAD)

He said that the health minister was informed in detail about the problems being faced by the nursing colleges. They praised the opening of Aam Aadmi Clinics and said that when the said clinics were opened by the government all over Punjab, the students of nursing colleges were present there as volunteers to serve the common people and in the future health programs that are run by the government, the students will also make maximum contribution.

Mittal said that Dr Balbir Singh assured that a meeting will be held soon with the higher officials of the department regarding the said problems, in which the representatives of the association will also be called to resolve the same on priority.
