The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested on Monday D.A. Srinivas, S/o Late D.K. Adhikesavalu; Smt. D.A. Kalpaja, D/o Late D.K. Adhikesavalu and S.Y. Mohan, Dy. SP in Karnataka Police and presently posted at SHRC Bangalore, Karnataka, in connection with cases registered by the CBI, relating to criminal conspiracy, cheating, forgery of valuable security, forgery of government stamps and seals as well as destruction of evidences and creation of false evidences.
These cases were registered by the CBI on the orders of Hon’ble High Court of Karnataka in matters related to death of K Raghunath as well as other connected forgery cases, which were previously investigated by the State Police. Subsequently, orders of Hon'ble High Court had been upheld by the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India.
The arrested accused Shri D A Srinivas, Smt. D.A. Kalpaja and Shri S.Y. Mohan shall be produced before the jurisdictional court after medical examination.
