Police reported to have more accused two more accused including ASI and Constable in a Salary Scam of Chandigarh Police and got police remand.
In this regard FIR No.25 dated 25.02.2020 under sections 201, 409, 420, 467, 468, 471, 477A, 120B IPC and 7(b), 13(1)(b) & 13(2) PC Act, Police Station Sector 3, Chandigarh.
Both the arrested accused namely ASI Vinod Kumar and Constable Rajbir Singh were posted in Accounts Branch and performing Treasury duties during that period dealing hand to prepare bills for salary, pay arrear, LTC leave encashment etc.
Both the accused were produced before the court where they have been sent to police custody for four days for further investigations in the matter..
