BRUTAL KILLING OF GIRL BY CAR OCCUPANTS, FIVE ARRESTED

Delhi Police reported to have nabbed fiveaccused responsible for killing of a scooty occupant girl on the eve of New Year under Police Station Sultanpur in Rohini Distt. The accused identified as 1. Deepak Khanna s/o late Rajesh Khanna aged 26 years working as Driver in Gramin Sewa ,  Amit Khanna s/o late Raj Kumar Khanna aged 25 working for SBI Cards in Uttam Nagar.,  Krishan s/o Kashi Nath aged 27 years working as Spanish Culture Centre at CP New Delhi, Mithun s/o Shiv Kumar aged 26 years working as Hair Dresser at Naraina  and Manoj Mittal s/o Surender Mittal aged 27 years working as Rashan Dealer at P Block Sultan Puri 

Meanwhile the Police said, the postmortem  is being conducted by Board of Doctors and the action will be taken accordingly.

A PCR Call vide DD No. 13 A dt. 01.01.2023 at about 03:24 AM was received at PS Kanjhawala (Rohini District) “ek baleno gaadi grey colour jo Qutubgarh ki side jaa rahi hai or usmei ek dead body bandhi hue hai jo niche latki hue hai”.

The caller was constantly contacted over his mobile number by the team of PS and the caller then informed that he identified the vehicle as a grey colour baleno bearing registration No. DL8CAYxxxx Staff deployed at pickets were alerted as well the message was flashed to search the vehicle. Constant efforts were made to trace the vehicle. At about 04:11 AM, a PCR call vide DD No. 15A dt. 01.01.2023 was received at PS Kanjhawala about the body of a girl lying on road.(SUBHEAD)

On reaching at the spot, Crime Team, Rohini Distt. was called for inspecting the crime scene and exhibits were lifted from the Scene of Crime. Thereafter, dead body of deceased was sent to SGM, Hospital, Mangolpuri wherein the doctor declared the patient brought dead vide MLC No. 82 dt. 01.01.2023 and dead body of deceased was preserved at Mortuary, SGM, Hospital, Mangolpuri.

Immediately, the car involved in the case and the occupants at the time of incidents were traced and apprehended. They were subjected to sustained interrogation which revealed that the car they were driving had met an accident with a scooty in the area of Sultanpuri.

In the area of PS Sultanpuri, SHO during night patrolling had already noticed a scooty in accidental condition and this information was lodged in the PS at 3.53am. With the scooty number further investigation was conducted and it revealed to be belonging to the victim who had been found lying on the road in the area of PS Kanjhawala.

Spot inspection as well as the physical remains on the spot reveal that after the accident, victim got entangled in the wheels and dragged for quite some distance. However, the investigation is still underway and all aspects of matter are being taken into consideration.

In this regard, a case vide FIR No. 02/2023 dated 01.01.2023 u/s 279/304A/304/34 of IPC, PS Sultanpuri has been registered and all the five occupants of the car have been arrested. The details of arrested person are as under:

Further, a request has been moved to health department, GNCT, Delhi to constitute a medical board to conduct the postmortem examination. The forensic experts have also been involved to examine the scene of crime, vehicles involved and collect all the relevant physical, biological and others evidences which will ensure successful prosecution.

In the meantime Swati Maliwal of Women Commission of Delhi, has sent a notice to the Delhi Police for this whole incident and  seek reply.
