Anti Narcotics Task Force (ANTF), Delhi Police, in a robust strategy with a clear mandate of “NASHA MUKT BHARAT ABHIYAAN”, conducted a series of meticulously planned operations across India comprising of various teams of Inspr. Jai Bhagwan, Inspr. Devender, ASI Ashok, ASI Rupesh, HC Maneesh and HC Pramod working under the close supervision of Anil Sharma ACP/ANTF and overall supervision Sh. Amit Goel, DCP/ANTF.
OPERATION : 1
A syndicate supplying contraband Ganja from Odisha to Delhi busted, giving much needed relief to the areas in Loni Ghaziabad, UP and Seelampur, Delhi. A total quantity of 106.2 KG fine quality of Marijuana(Ganja) recovered.
On information regarding supply of contraband ganja in Delhi NCR was received in ANTF. A comprehensive ground workincluding mounting human surveillance, technical surveillance was done. A raid was coordinated and 04 accused persons namely Mohd. Asif, Manish @ Golu, Noor Salam @ Azzu and NaseemBano were arrested from Vikas Marg, near Noida Link Road. A total of 106.2 Kg fine quality of marijuana was recovered. Subsequently, a case vide FIR No.233/22 U/s 20/25/29 NDPS Act was registered and the investigation was taken up.(SUBHEAD)
During the course of investigation, sustained interrogation was carried out. From the interrogation, it emanated that they procured Ganja from one GopinathPangi from Jeypore, Odisha and it was destined to be deliveredin Delhi NCR to one Mohammad Pinku and MunniKhatun. Diligent efforts were made to arrest all the remaining accused persons. Finally, hard work of team yielded fruitful results as the team succeeded in arresting Mohd. Pinku from Delhi. The source of contraband namely GopinathPangi was arrested from Orissa aftertireless efforts. The absconding 7th accused namely MunniKhatun was also finally arrested.

• ANTF launched operation focusing on the drug menace prevalent in youth in west Delhi and Bareilly, UP. • Total 550 grams heroin recovered from the possession of accused persons and two drug suppliers nabbed. • Both accused persons are having criminal antecedents in NDPS cases.
The ANTF was receiving inputs regarding supply of heroin in West Delhi by Bareilly borne sources. The team worked on the input relentlessly and finally succeeded, based on a tip of the sleuths from ANTFlaid a trap near Tilak Nagar Metro Station and apprehended two accused persons namely Gulzaar Khan,age 20 years R/o Village Behra, Teh. Faridpur, Distt. Bareilly, UP, (supplier) and Tushar,age 26 years R/o SehyogVihar, Matiyala, Delhi, (receiver). A total quantity of 550 grams fine quality Heroin/Smack was seized from their possession. Accordingly, a case vide FIR No 252/22,U/s 21/25/29 NDPS Act was registered at PS Crime Branch.
Mr. Ravindra Singh Yadav, IPS, Special Commissioner of Police,Crime, said, during interrogation, accused Gulzaar Khan was subjected to sustained interrogation to discern the forward and backward linkages of drug supply in Delhi & NCR. He divulged that he used to procure the consignment from Bareilly and supplied the same to one Tushar in Delhi.
The whole family of accused is indulged in drugs trafficking infesting the entire region of Bareilly and Matiala, West Delhi with this menace. The father, mother, brother and accused himself had already been arrested under NDPS Act cases. His father Balidaad has been convicted and lodged in Tihar Jail. He disclosed that the source of contraband is in Bareilly, UP. The efforts are still continuing to uproot the further chain in Bareilly. With the bursting of both the Narco Crime Syndicate, the residential pockets of Matiyala, West Delhi, the trans Yamuna area of Delhi got the much needed relief.
