Former Member Parliament and senior BJP leader Sunil Jakhar has urged the SGPC to undertake preparation and printing of dedicated literature in all languages encompassing life and sacrifices of four Sahibzadas to propagate values of peace, harmony and co-existence upheld by them through their unparalalled martyrdom, across the length and breadth of the country,
In his letter to the SGPC, Jakhar said, the unprecedented Shahadat of Chhote and Wadde Sahibzadas of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji lends a poignant meaning to the month of December for the Naam Leva Sangat across the globe. Their martyrdom is an eternal source of motivation for each and every citizen.”
The decision of PM Narendra Modi to announce observance of martyrdom day of Chhote Sahibzadas as Veer Baal Diwas on national level was to propagate their sacrifices amongst people across the nation, Jakhar added.
Underlining the need to apprise younger generation about the religious and cultural significance of the supreme act of martyrdom chosen by four Sahibzadas against tyranny and terror, Jakhar said we as society have been unsuccessful in making the younger gernartions fully aware about their exemplary courage and the religious and cultural significance of their supreme sacrifice.
Jakhar urged the SGPC to disseminate this literature especially amongst our youngsters who in want to role models are being led astray.
