MURDER WAS COMMITTED ON MERELY SHARING OF BATHROM

Distt. Police reported to have solved murder case of woman in Ekta Vihar,under Police Chowki Baltana in Zirakpur (Mohali) , which was committed on Nov. 24 last.
SSP Mohali Mr. Sandeep Kumar Garg, said, a woman Gayatri Devi. was murdered with a sharp weapon and the case of murder was registered on Nov. 25 at Police Station Zirakpur.
Dr. Garg while giving information in this regard further said that the deceased lived with her family at In whose neighborhood Pawan Singh Rana lived with his family. With which they used to be at odds with each other due to sharing the bathroom.
He further said on 24.11.2022, the deceased's husband was at work and when the wife did not pick up the phone, her husband went home and broke the lock of the room and found Gayatri Devi lying on the bed covered with blood, whose throat had been cut with a sharp weapon.
During investigation the accused were arrested from Saristbad Colony, Police Station Gardina Bagh, District Patna (Bihar) and the knife used in the murder has been recovered.
Both the accused Pawan Singh Rana and Jhunu Kumar Singh Painter S/o Amir Singh R/o Village Dhumri Beju, Ward No: 01, Patahi Purvi, Champran, Bihar Resident of House No: 01, Ekta Vihar, Baltana, Mohali were produced in the court and remanded to four days police custody for further investigation, Investigation of the case is ongoing.
