In another breakthrough Crime Branch of Chandigarh Police under the supervision of Inspector Rajiv Kumar with the close guidance of DSP Crime, Sh. Rajnish got the major success by arresting the three notorious snatchers namely Akash @ Noddy, Vicky@ Nepali and Gourav Sharma who were involved in recently snatching case in the area of Manimajra, Chandigarh.
With their arrest 8 Mobile phones have been recovered which were snatched from Chandigarh and Panchkula. Four cases of snatching have been solved while others are being verify.
Apart from this one on 1.12.2022 information received that the persons who recently committed the snatching in the area of Manimajra, Chandigarh are roaming in the area of BDC and looking another pray. Acting upon this information a team swiftly reached in BDC. Accused Akash @ Nody was arrested from near old kerosene Pump, BDC, Chandigarh and snatched mobile phone involved in FIR No. 127 of PS-MM was recovered from his possession.
The vehicle used in crime also taken into police possession. On his information his co-accused Vicky S/o Sh. Vijay Kumar R/o # 704/4, BDC, Sec.26, Chandigarh, Aged 30 years was also arrested on 2.12.2022 and mobile phone involved in case FIR No. 132 of PS-MM was recovered on his instance. On 03.12.22accused Gourav Sharma S/o Sh. Raj Kumarwas also arrested and one activa No. CH01AH0731 stolen in case FIR No. 183/21 of PS-34 was recovered from his possession.
All three the accused are drug edict and to fulfil their needs of drug they committed snatching. All accused have tainted past and have previously been arrested in cases of Chandigarh.
