GAMC HOLDS PLACEMENT DRIVE

A Placement Camp/Rozgar Mela in collaboration with the District Bureau of Employment and Enterprises was held at Gopichand Arya Mahila College. Axis Bank, ICICI Bank, Midland Microfin Ltd. and Pukhraj Healthcare were among the major recruiters who visited the campus.

Recruitment drive was carried out to fill 150 vacancies in these companies. 147 candidates appeared for the interview and 69 were shortlisted. Raj Singh, District Placement Officer and Sunil Upneja, Incharge-College Placement Cell successfully organized the placement drive.(SUBHEAD)

Dr Rekha Sood Handa, Principal appreciated the efforts of the department for organising the job fair. She said that such events are the need of the hour as talented and deserving students get an opportunity to prove their intellect and technical ability to the application environment.

The Principal showed her concern over the lack of job opportunities available in the technical market. The students have to develop an overall personality to best fit into the future requirement of industry. She reaffirmed that such job fairs and campus placement drives will be dealt with top priority in future as well and congratulated all the selected candidates and wished them luck for their success in their career.
