BSF TROOPS RECOVERED TWO PLASTIC PIPES FILLED WITH SUSPECTED NARCOTICS

During afternoon hours, forward deployed BSF troops observed a plastic pipe lying in the farming field, ahead of border fencing, near International Border in the area falling near village – Bharopal, under Amritsar district.

The plastic pipe (appx 01 feet long and 1.5 inch in diameter) was noticed by BSF troops, while a farmer was harvesting paddy crops by combine machine. On examining the pipe, it was found to be filled with white coloured substance suspected to be heroin.

During further search of the area, another plastic pipe of same dimensions was found from the farming fields ahead of border fencing, close to International border.

The gross weight of both recovered pipes alongwith suspected narcotics substance is 0.560 Kgs.
