On the night intervening 24th / 25th Sept' 2022, Border Security Force (BSF) troops deployed on border and depth areas heard buzzing sound of suspected drone coming from Pakistan to India side and after a while returning to Pakistan side.
(MOREPIC1) During the course of action, alert BSF troops fired towards the sound of suspected drone during its incoming and outgoing.
Further, during search in depth area, BSF troops recovered four packets (03 intact & 01 loose) of suspected narcotics substance (gross weight 3.290 kgs), from the farming field at village – Dhanoe Khurd in Amritsar district.
Vigilant BSF troops, once again foiled the nefarious attempt of anti – national elements to smuggle contrabands using drone.
