A printing press, located in the middle of Ramlila Ground and City-2 police station was reportedly burgled in the intervening night of Wednesday-Thursday. The incident has raised security concerns as Ramlila is to be started in the next few days.

Manoj Kumar, a fruit vendor, said that he had last night stacked some boxes of Apple and Pomegranate fruit in Amardeep Electric Press premises. Today morning, he found that the main gate of the building was vandalized and someone barged in to the premises by removing iron fence of the ventilating window. The miscreants took away ten cases of fruits besides four umbrellas that were used as sun shade.

Interestingly the printing press is located just opposite of Government High School on the South Circular Road that remains busy with traffic day and night but theft was committed as people had no fear of security force.
