In the M.A. English IV semester result declared by the Panjab University, Simran Miglani, a student of Gopichand Arya Mahila College, has brought laurels to the college and region by securing the first position in the university with 80.16 percent marks.Eight students have clinched 6 of the Top-10 positions in the merit list.
While Sheetal Narula scored 79 percent, Navdeep Kaur and Shivali 77.55 percent marks, Sonam Luna 76.08 percent, Ghazal 75.77 percent, Harmandeep Kaur and Samta Rawat got 75.06 percent marks in third, fifth, sixth, eighth and third grade respectively.
In the merit list of Panjab University, 8 girl students of Gopichand College occupied 6 places in the Top-10.
In the last years, students Shimpy, Saroj, Diksha, Sakshi and Ushminder secured the first position and about 55 girls made their place in the merit list.
