In order to compensate for the loss caused to the farmers due to heavy rains in the year 2020, Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann has ordered the release of compensation amount of Rs 32 crores to the farmers of Fazilka district. Appreciating this decision, MLA Sandeep Jakhar today thanked the CM and said that this will give a big relief for the farmers and most of its benefits will reach the farmers of Abohar sub-division.
Jakhar said that along with this, the Chief Minister should also order payment of arrears of about Rs 3 crores for the renovation of Abohar bus stand being developed near the Abha Square, then the aura of the city will increase further. This will also bring great relief to the people of Abohar. EOM
