Border Security Force (BSF) troops reported seized contraband Heroin worth Rs. 20 crores in international market on Monday evening.
BSF spokesman said, during evening hours on Monday, a person of Village – Jangad Bhaini informed to Border Security Force troops that 04 Pkts of suspicious item are laying in his agricultural land on home – side of border security fence, in Abohar Sector.
Further, during search, BSF troops recovered 03 Pkts wrapped in yellow adhesive tape and 01 transparent Pkt (half – filled), Total – 04 Pkts (Gross weight – 3.780 Kgs) suspected to be Heroin alongwith a waterproof carry bag with illuminators.
Another nefarious attempt of Anti national elements to smuggle contrabands was foiled.
