VIGYAN UTSAV FOR PROMOTING PROTECTION OF INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS.

The Vigyan Utsav-Punjab, year long celebration of Festival of Science under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, culminated on 25.08.2022. It is a joint endeavor of Punjab State Council for Science & Technology (PSCST) and Department of Science & Technology (DST), Govt. of India.

Under this, One Month One Theme initiative, the theme of today’s event was Intellectual Property Rights. Dr. Debapriya Dutta, Advisor, Science for Equity Empowerment and Development (SEED), State Science and Technology Programme (SSTP), DST-GoI in his special remarks emphasized Intellectual Property as backbone of STI Ecosystem and the need of translation of scientific research into marketable products through strong IP Protection and enforcement.
