A spectacular cultural program was organized by Brahma Kumaris on the occasion of Janmashtami at Raj Yoga Bhawan here today. Mayor of Municipal Corporation Vimal Thatai was present as the chief guest. Under the guidance of center in-charge BK Pushplata and her deputy BK Darshana, the program was coordinated by BK Sunita, while BK Shalu assisted in the stage decoration and performance of the artists.
Pihu started off with the dance of the Natkhat Bansi Wale Gokal Ke Raja. Mehak dazzled with his performance of Kanha Re Thoda Sa Pyar De. Yashika took it further with Raat Suhani song-based dance. When Bhavya danced to the song Radha DhoondhRahi Kisi ne Mera Shyam Dekha, all the spectators present in the packed hall were in awe. Drishti garnered a lot of applause with the dance performance of Kanha So Ja Zara and Amaani by Radha Kaise Na Jale.
Gunash presented the spiritual song Hum Baba Ke Bache Hain. The stage became live with children dressed in the costume of Shri Krishna. Before the finale, the songs on which all the artists together made the atmosphere joyful by performing a group dance included Mach Gaya Shor, Chaati Chon Madhani Lai Gaya, Ni Main Nachna Mohan De Naal, Mere Ghar Par Bhi Aana Kanha.
Mayor Thatai, describing the event as wonderful, appreciated the dance art of the children. He said that if we imbibe the message given by Shri Krishna to act with good spirit and not desire for the fruits, then many evils prevailing in the society will be removed.
