GOOD GESTURE: BSF HANDS OVER TWO PAK NATIONALS TO RANGERS

Border Securitury Force (BSF) in a good  geture returned two pak nationals to Pak Rangers in Gurdaspur Sector.

BSF spokesman said, on 0th Aug’ 2022 at about 1120 hrs, forward deployed BSF troops of 10 Bn under Gurdaspur Sector apprehended 02 Pakistan Nationals ahead of border fence, while they crossed the IB and entered into Indian territory.

During questioning, it came to notice that the apprehended Pakistan Nationals crossed over to Indian territory inadvertently. Nothing objectionable was recovered from them.

BSF approached Pakistan Rangers and lodged protest on the matter. 

Further, both the Pakistan Nationals were handed-over to Pakistan Rangers, being inadvertent crossers, as a goodwill gesture and on humanitarian grounds.
