Apna-Apna Hissa, a play staged by AKS theatre group here last night, made the audience spellbound. During the staging of this poignant play, the eyes of hundreds of spectators became moist.
AKS Press Secretary Raghav Nagpal said that Mayor Vimal Thatai, social activist Rajiv Khanna, DAV College of Education Principal Dr. Vijay Grover, Gaushala president Fakir Chand Goyal, Principal Dr. Iqbal Singh Sandhu, NIMA ex-president Dr. Subhash Nagpal attended as chief guests. Mayor Thatai said that AKS has been trying to remove social evils through plays for the last 30 years, which is commendable.(SUBHEAD)
Mangat Verma, president of the theatre group, said that the play written by Waryam Singh Sandhu and directed by Deepak Kamboj hadrecently won the first prize at the national level drama festival. In the play Deepak Kamboj, Mangat Verma, Manchita Verma, Anjum Gulati, Jyotsna Kamboj, Vikram Kamra, Laranya Gulati, Manjeet Ubhi, Pankaj Garg, Sandeep Verma, Sahaj, Sidak, Ajay Indora, Amardeep, Jasbir Jassi, Shubhdeep, Sachin, Sunny, Sahil, Kanchi Garg, Chini Garg and Saksham Narula played different roles.
Off the stage support was extended by Tulsi Goyal Play Back Singer, Sunil Jangid Music Director, Bobby Sandha Art Director and Vishant Miglani, Satish Patel and Gurdev Singh. The stage was conducted by Jagriti Miglani, Sanchita Verma and Dhvani Gulati.
